Kelly Funk's Kamloops photography workshops / courses 2010-11

With the help of Tourism Kamloops www.tourismkamloops.com I've created 3 workshops for 2010 and 1 for 2011. The first date is April 25: 'The magic of water', consisting of (2) classes, 1 morning and 1 afternoon. June 05: 'Spring flowers'. October 03: 'Fall colors and large skies' and Feb 20 2011: 'Winter landscapes and ice flows'. For more info email me at kfunk@telus.net or go here . You'll find the photography seminars listed there with detailed information.

Looking forward to seeing the locals come out and meeting some out of towners to show off our unique and stunning terrain. I'm only taking 8 people/workshop and in just a week the 'Magic of water' is 50% full. Feel free to ask any questions you have.

Cheers,
Kelly

2010 - Join us in Powell River!

2009 was fun, different sure, but fun and eventful no less. I like even numbers so I think 2010 will be stellar, that's my scientific prediction!

It was a good year for our magazine, www.outdoorphotographycanada.com with a large increase in readership and interest. I had such a blast producing the feature on Grizzlies in the Khutzeymateen, and this spring I'm looking forward to showcasing this amazing trip to the participants taking part in my workshop from May 14-19. For those of you looking at coming on a future trip, stay tuned for dates, you don't want to miss out on what is a once in a lifetime experience. See the website for the pdf for more info.

I'm very excited to bring to you another workshop/seminar happening this spring, 'Coast in Focus' from May 28-31 in Powell River, BC with my good mate, and excellent photographer Darren Robinson www.darrenrobinsonphotography.com. Also joining us is Emma levez Larocque to round out will be a fantastic learning experience and sure to bring more than a few laughs. Please check out the ad on this post for more info. The lower coast of BC in a stunning place that cries out to be photographed and we have some locales that will leave you speechless. It'll be an eclectic weekend with many things to absorb and learn and I'm so looking forward to it. If you're looking for tight, dry, monotoned field and classroom experience, don't expect it here!! We want you learning in a FUN environment.

I'll be updating the blog shortly and often, but get back to me with any questions you may have, always happy to help out!

** Update, we are now 30% full for this course

Cheers,
Kelly
